幸福美好的词语：

1. happiness 幸福；快乐；适当

这是最常用的词啦，分享两个作文里可以用到的句子吧。

Happiness doesn"t always go with money.

幸福未必伴随金钱而来。

Happiness consists in trying to do one"s duty.

幸福在于履行自己的责任。

2. bliss 极乐，狂喜；天赐之福

Lying on a sunny beach is my idea of sheer bliss.

我认为躺在沙滩上晒太阳是最大的幸福。

bliss也可以作动词，翻译成“欣喜若狂，狂喜，乐不可支”。

常见搭配有：bliss (sb) out，来个例句：

要注意的是，bliss和bless长的相似，但是词性和意思很不相同。

blessed是形容词，表示“神圣的；有福的；愉快的”。blessedness就看作是blessed的名词形式。

single blessedness常用来开玩笑，形容独身、未婚之福，比如：

而我们中文里所说的“福气”，我觉得就可以用blessing表示。这个单词的意思是“幸事；喜事”。

4. eudaemonia 幸福

这个词指因理性而积极生活所带来的幸福，尤指亚里士多德哲学中的理性健康生活。

5. euphoria 幸福愉快感

They were in a state of euphoria for days after they won the prize.

elixir是一种通常为液体的万灵药，长生不老药。

6. felicity 幸福，幸运，快乐

这是一个偏文学性的词语，比如：

joy and felicity

快乐和幸福

Felicity is easily found, but hard to be kept.

找到幸福容易，维持幸福困难。

felicity也可以翻译成“恰当的语句；精妙的评论”，比如：

Her article contained one or two verbal felicities that will stay in my mind for years.

7. weal 福利；幸福

8. welfare 福利；福利事业；幸福

1. have a whale of a time 玩得非常痛快；过得非常愉快

We had a whale of a time on holiday.

假期里我们玩得非常痛快。

2. on cloud nine 高兴极了；异常兴奋；乐不可支

"Was Helen pleased about getting that job?" "Pleased? She was on cloud nine!"

“海伦得到那份工作高兴吗？”“岂止是高兴？她简直飘飘然了！”

3. tickled pink 欢天喜地

I was tickled pink when I found I had won a prize in the lottery.
